Marry Me Bread

Fluffy bread topped with juicy spiced chicken and a rich, creamy sun-dried tomato sauce, baked until golden and bubbling.

Ingredients

Chicken

2 boneless chicken thighs
1 tsp butter
Salt, to taste
Garlic powder, to taste
Paprika, to taste
Onion powder, to taste

Marry Me Sauce

1 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
2 tsp sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
2 tsp chili oil
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp chili flakes
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or parmesan
1 tsp dried oregano

Bread Base

1 batch pizza dough
1–2 tbsp tomato paste

Steps

Cook the chicken

1Season 2 chicken thighs generously with salt, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
2Heat a pan over medium heat and melt 1 tsp butter. Fry the chicken for 6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice into bite-sized pieces.

Make the sauce

1In the same pan over medium heat, add 1 tbsp butter, 3 cloves minced garlic, 2 tsp sun-dried tomatoes, 2 tsp chili oil, 1 tsp chili powder, and 1 tsp chili flakes. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
2Pour in 1 cup heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
3Stir in 1/2 cup shredded cheese and 1 tsp oregano until melted and creamy. Return the sliced chicken to the pan and coat well.

Build and bake

1Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan. Stretch your pizza dough into the pan and let it rest for 15–20 minutes until relaxed and slightly puffed.
2Spread 1–2 tbsp tomato paste over the dough, then spoon the creamy chicken mixture evenly on top.
3Bake at 425°F (230°C) for 12–14 minutes, until the bread is golden underneath and cooked through.
